Roxy's story
Roxy is an ~16 week old 25 pound pitbull mix puppy. She was surrendered to the rescue by her owners who had not had her vaccinated and were going to have her euthanized (due to cost) when she came down with parvovirus and needed treatment to save her life. She has recovered wonderfully, is healthy, and is now being fostered in Cheyenne, WY.
Roxy has a pretty submissive, timid personality but loves people and cuddling. Average energy. She is doing well with kennel training and likes other dogs. She does cower at times like she has been abused and involuntarily pees a small amount when scared; this is improving the longer she is around people who are nice to her and as she gets braver and more socialized. She will do best in a relatively quiet, calm home with lots of love and snuggling.
Her adoption includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, and microchip. Adoption application, contract, home check, and adoption fee is required. Breed bans will be respected. Please feel free to inquire about Roxy and see if she is the puppy for you!
